Krishna Udayasankar, described by The Economist magazine as "one of the most successful authors in a now-crowded field," is the author of The Aryavarta Chronicles (Govinda, Kaurava and Kurukshetra) - a critically-acclaimed bestselling series which has been optioned in one of the biggest book-to-movie deals in Bollywood to date. She is also the author of Immortal - a contemporary fantasy-adventure novel the rights to which were recently acquired by the leading production house Phantom Films. Her other works include 3 – a novel based on the founding myth of Singapore, and Objects of Affection - a full-length collection of prose-poems.
Krishna holds an undergraduate degree in law and a PhD in strategic management. She lives in Singapore with her family, which includes three bookish canine children, Boozo, Zana and Maya, who are sometimes to be found at her laptop, trying to make her writing better.
